December 2017 – In the wake of the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA and continued disputes in the South regarding the status of Confederate monuments, this documentary looks into the history of monuments in North Carolina. This historical documentary explores the real political dynamics of post-war North Carolina and how it is misrepresented by the pervasive Confederate imagery seen in statues and monuments in public spaces today.
